The exact revenue at a specific subscriber count doesn't matter.

No one can take those skills away from you! You own it. And you own your email list.
If you’re starting from scratch and looking for one main goal for 2026, it should be this:
Add 1,000 email newsletter subscribers, organically.
Organically means subscribers from sources like:
Google search, SEO, and GEO
Video platforms: YouTube and TikTok
Social media: LinkedIn, Substack notes, Instagram, X, and more
Outreach, word-of-mouth, referrals, and free recommendations
Other newsletters, publications, partnerships, and cross-promotions
And more
Organically does not mean:
Meta ads, social ads, paid recommendations, co-reg, or any paid traffic source or source where subscribers do not intentionally sign up on a web page
If you can get to 1,000 you will get to 10,000+ if you keep going.
And after that, building a large, profitable business is inevitable.
Just don't give up.
Your first 1k is the hardest. After that, growth compounds.
For many folks, it takes longer to go from 0-1k than from 1k to 10k.
That’s okay.
You get to master the content creation process while few people are watching.
By the time you reach 1k, your content has improved 100X.
