If you've got an email list and something to sell, reading this might be the best financial decision you make all year.

Why? Because I’ve curated the best “fast cash” marketing emails that anyone can copy and send to get more sales today.

And no, these aren't templates made with ChatGPT.

That's not how I roll.

I love great marketing emails like a seagull loves unattended french fries.

These emails are from my personal collection. My swipe file.

So without further ado… Here are 10+ proven emails sent by brilliant marketers that have already generated millions in sales:

All the fast cash emails

If you want to see all the emails in one place, click the button below. I won't have room to include the full copy for each email in this post, so I've put all of them into a Notion page. Use it. Then share with your team, your copywriter, your mom, whatever, I don't care.

Email 1) How I can help? [Trigger email]

Why it works: If someone opens multiple emails and clicked in the past few days, you should have a trigger automation that sends them an email with your core offer.

This is an obvious (and incredibly profitable) email automation most people don't use.

If you've never done this before, you can start by sending it as a broadcast email, then set up the automation for new subscribers after.

  • Purpose: Make an offer immediately after a subscriber has engaged.

  • When to send: After a subscriber has been on your list for 7 days or more (and meets the trigger criteria).

  • Who to send it to: Sign-up date is before 7 days ago AND unique opens is greater than or equal to 2-3 within the past 7 days AND unique clicks are greater than or equal to 1 within the past 90 days

  • Source: Ryan Deiss

Email Example

Subject line:

How can I help?

Body copy:

Ryan here…

I’m reaching out directly because you’ve been more “engaged” with my content lately.

(Opening… reading… clicking… stuff like that.)

So I thought I’d check in and ask:

Is there anything holding your business back right now that you wish you could just… get help with?

Email 2) Work with me 1:1? [Coaching/consulting sales]

Why it works: Explain why you've never offered 1on1 consulting or a done-for-you service before. Then open up an exclusive 1on1 or DFY offer for the first time, but make the slots extremely limited. It's a no-brainer for your biggest fans to buy.

  • Purpose: Sell 1on1 time or a DFY service for the first time

  • Who to send it to: Your full list for subscribers who have opened and clicked at least 1 email in the past 90 days

  • Source: Daniel Bustamante

Email Example

Subject line:

work with me 1:1?

Body copy:

For the past 8 months or so, I've been heads down building my agency.

  • [List here]

And of course, writing tons of banger emails :)

It’s been great.

But in order to grow this new business, I’ve had to say no to almost everything:

  • [List here]

Otherwise, I’d have spread myself too thin.

However, over the past 2 months, 2 things have happened:

  • I’ve been able to finally reclaim a lot of my time (thanks to my team & the systems we’ve built)

  • And I’ve gotten a surprising amount of inbound emails & DMs from folks asking if I am offering any 1:1 consulting/coaching.

So after mulling it over for a few days, I figured…

F*ck it, why not?

Email 3) Why didn’t you buy? [Follow up after launch or marketing campaign]

Why it works: You learn the real reasons people didn’t buy instead of guessing. Their replies show you what to fix in your offer and sales message. You may even turn a few “no” answers into sales after talking with them.

Plus, every reply can help your email reputation, which may improve how often your emails reach the inbox.

  • Purpose: Get feedback and customer objections you can address in future emails. Pick up a few additional sales from customers who are on the fence.

  • When to send: At the end or towards the end of a launch campaign or a marketing email sequence.

  • Who to send it to: If someone visits your sales page (or clicks on your emails) a few times AND they still don’t buy.

  • Source: Daniel Bustamante

Email Example

Subject line:

what happened?

Body copy:

Hey,

You received our recent emails about joining our May cohort of [OFFER NAME], and ultimately decided not to enroll.

Of course, no hard feelings... I'd be so grateful to hear why.

Was it the price? The timing? Something that didn't feel like the right fit? Or maybe a question I never properly answered?

Whatever it was, just hit reply and tell me; even a single unfiltered sentence is so valuable.

Thanks so much!

Email 4) The 9-word email [Win back dead leads]

Why it works: Do you have a list of leads, prospects, or email subscribers that signed up for something but haven't taken any action? Try the 9-word email:

"Are you still looking for [the thing they inquired about]?”

The question should be open-ended. DON’T add a CTA or any links. Keep the email 9-12 words long.

This feels personal and prompts people to reply. Then what’ll happen is you’ll get a surprising number of responses like, “Yes, I am,” or “No, actually, but maybe in a couple of months.”

After you get replies, share the next step: Book a sales call, register for a webinar, go to a sales page, etc.

  • Purpose: Revive dead leads

  • When to send: 60-90 days after a subscriber or lead opts in

  • Who to send it to: Subscribers or leads who have not purchased

  • Source: Dean Jackson

Email Example

Subject line:

[first name]

Or

Hey

Body copy:

"Are you still looking for [the thing they inquired about]?”

So, if I were a real estate agent, the email would read:

“Hey, are you still interested in buying houses in San Francisco?

Or in my case, it would say something like:

“Hey, are you still interested in launching your newsletter?”

And then a simple sign-off like:

“Best,Matt”

Email 5) Refund transparency [Product launch, welcome sequence, or follow-up]

Why it works: I've used this email template at the end of multiple launch sequences to drive tens of thousands of dollars in sales.

Typically, it will get a 60%-70%+ open rate.

  • Purpose: Increase trust to sell your offer

  • When to send: In the final three days of a launch sequence OR in the last three emails of an automated sales sequence

  • Who to send it to: Everyone you're selling to who has not purchased yet

  • Source: Matt McGarry

Email Example

Subject line:

Body copy:

Hey — Matt here.

I’ll be 100% transparent:

I’ve refunded 55+ people who joined Write, Grow, Sell. It’s not for everyone.

Still, I'm proud to have a 14-day “no questions asked” money-back guarantee.

I'm even more proud that 1,500+ people who took the program got results.

Email 6) Where did we lose you? [Sales follow-up]

Why it works: You close more leads you would have lost without sending this. Plus, get feedback to improve.

  • Keep it short — 2-3 sentences

  • Lowercase subject line

  • Make it look like it was quickly typed

  • If you want, it could be dramatically sloppy with inconsistent punctuation

The email gets two types of responses. Both are valuable.

A) Actual feedback on why they didn't buy.

Gold for improving your marketing and sales messaging.

B) More common: "You didn't lose me" replies.

Often, the lead explains where they're actually in the sales process, what's holding them back, or what's going on in their business or life.

Next step: Respond and put them back into the sales process — ask them to:

Book a call, Go to the sales page, Attend the next webinar, Or give them an exclusive discount, etc.

  • Purpose: Get feedback and customer objections you can address in future emails. Pick up a few additional sales from customers who are on the fence.

  • When to send: After a subscriber/lead has gone through a sales sequence, marketing campaign, or watched a VSL/webinar AND has not purchased

  • Who to send it to: Subscribers/leads who have gone through some type of sales or marketing campaign, engaged with the campaign, clicked the sales page but have not purchased

  • Source: Matt McGarry

Email Example

Subject line:

feedback?

Preview text: Wonder if you can send me 1-2sentences on where we lost you.

Body copy:

Hey [name],

I saw you checked out [offer], but didn't move forward.

Could you send me 1-2 sentences on where we lost you?

Would appreciate anything you can tell me so I can improve.

Thank you

Email 7) 1on1 advising sales sequence [directly sell consulting or DFY services]

How it works: I used this 4-part email campaign to add $252,000+ ARR in 3 days. Read the full guide on how each email works with examples here.

  • Purpose: Sell a high-ticket offer to your most engaged subscribers

  • When to send: Anytime

Email 8) Yes, I'm asking for your money [Sell your membership/paid subscription]

How it works: if you have a premium subscription or membership and an engaged newsletter, you need to send a direct offer email like this.

  • Purpose: Sell your membership or subscription

  • Who to send it to: Subscribers who have opened or clicked at least one email in the past 90 days

  • Source: Tangle News

Email Example

Subject line:

Most news outlets try to conceal what these emails are really about with clickbait or misleading subject lines. But I'm going to get straight to the point:

I'm going to ask you to become a paying subscriber to Tangle.

Why should you?

Email 9) Can I send you $1,500? [Referral Bounty Email]

How it works: The Referral Bounty Email is a simple way to get more leads without making a hard sales pitch. Describe your ideal client in 2–3 clear bullets, ask readers if they know someone who fits, and offer a cash reward if that person joins.

The trick is that some readers will realize, “Hey, that sounds like me.”

Justin Moore tried this and got 100+ replies, lots of referrals, and plenty of people who were interested in joining themselves. The key is being very specific about who you want to work with.

  • Purpose: Get referrals and open up conversations that lead to sales

  • When to send: Anytime

  • Who to send it to: Your full list. Or, subscribers who have opened or clicked in the past 90 days

  • Source: Justin Moore

Email Example

Subject line:

Can I send you $1500?

  • Regular inbound offers from brands (2–5 per month)

  • Strong niche/differentiation

Hit reply and LMK!

I’ll send ya $1,500 if they join 😁
